Poor little Paul's story
15 December 2016
Poor little Paul is a stray kitten that was recently rescued by the Belfast Adoption Centre.
Paul was first reported to the Belfast Adoption Centre by a kind hearted member of public who had noticed him cowering amongst rubbish on a derelict piece of waste ground in Belfast city centre.
When Paul was rescued and brought into the Belfast Adoption Centre he was very emaciated, hypothermic, soaked through, covered in dirt and engine oil, infested with fleas and worms and in a very sorry state indeed.
Cats Protection's Cat Care Assistants bathed Paul, dried him off and warmed him up in a kitten incubator before painstakingly combing his fur to remove his substantial flea infestation. Paul was then given medication to treat his fleas and worms and finally given a well earned square meal of kitten food.
Paul was given a clean bill of health by Cats Protection's veterinary team a few days later and he has since been reserved to soon go home with a lovely lady who fell head over heels in love with Paul at first sight.
A very happy ending for Paul and the second chance in life that he so deserved!
