Help Willy Walk Appeal - UPDATE
14 May 2017
Fantastic news! The Belfast Adoption Centre is delighted to announce that (thanks to the generosity of Cats Protection supporters through a recent successful JustGiving appeal) stray cat Willy was able to undergo his corrective leg surgery on both his rear legs to help him walk pain free for the first time in his life.
If you missed Willy's story and original appeal you can catch up with it here: Willy's story
Willy is now undergoing a period of physiotherapy and rehabilitation to help him recover after his extensive surgery and get him used to walking normally.
However if you thought things couldn't get any better for Willy......then think again! We are delighted to say that Willy has since found his forever home with Angela (one of the veterinary nurses who helped Willy through his surgeries).
Sadly Angela recently lost her own cat due to old age and thought it would be an ideal opportunity to honour the legacy of her last rescue cat by offering Willy the second chance in life that he deserves. We are confident Willy will be spoilt rotten in his new home!
A very happy ending we are sure you will all agree! Thank you again to everyone who donated towards the Help Willy Walk JustGiving appeal - we couldn't have done it without you!
